Ok actual coherent sentences now. It’s been pretty obvious for a few episodes now they were pushing for the Bobby ghost thing, I think they’ve suggested it well, most of the things Bobby has interacted with have been his own or to help dean (i think he drank the beer to tell Dean to stop killing his liver!). I think Sam’s explanations for whats been happening are absolutely laced in denial, there was no way that Dean simply ‘imagined’ the sword flinging itself across the room to him and there’s no way the shojo messed up and pushed the only thing that could kill it towards Dean (when have they ever encountered a spirit so stupid?)
As for Bobby leading Dean to Cas/Emmanuel, I think Bobby definitely knew it was Cas, he would have checked it out himself before leading a complete stranger to Dean and Sam. Considering this, yes he wanted to do his part to save Sam because lets face it, if Bobby hadn’t Sam would be dead. On the offside I believe Bobby really wanted to reunite Cas with the boys, he could see how loosing Cas was effecting Dean and when he discover Cas was actually alive, Bobby would have wanted to at least give them a chance to reconcile.
I think Bobby’s ghost powers are severally limited right now due to him not being a vengeful spirit, he’s learning how to use them still and I think he may actually be mostly attached to that flask. It’s killing me how he can’t make contact with his boys, he must feel so alone right now, but he’s Bobby so he’ll figure out a way! Interested to see where this will be going, especially along side the Cas storyline.
